- Increase donations via their website
- Develop a professional and appealing website to attract their target audience
- Enhance their online presence, making it easier for potential donors to find them through Google search and contribute

The solution
To meet Cancer Prevention Research Trust’s goals, we implemented a comprehensive digital strategy encompassing website development, SEO, content marketing, and paid search campaigns:
Charity website development:
- Built a fully responsive, user-friendly WordPress website designed to make a strong first impression and clearly communicate the charity’s value proposition.
- Included two design layouts with two iterations for feedback and refinement.
- Integrated key features such as a map, enquiry form, PayPal donation functionality, and a drop-down menu for easy navigation.
- Added links to social media channels to boost engagement and reach.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO for charities):
- Conducted keyword research to identify relevant search terms for CPRT’s target audience.
- Provided ongoing charity SEO, focusing on one page per month, including writing meta titles and descriptions to improve search visibility.
- Created and submitted an XML sitemap to Google to enhance indexing.
- Delivered bi-annual site audits and two ranking reports per year to monitor performance.
Content marketing for charities:
- Developed an annual content calendar for blog posts, focusing on cancer prevention topics to engage and educate the audience.
- Produced one optimised blog post per quarter, including relevant images, and uploaded these to the blog.
- Shared blog content on LinkedIn and Twitter to increase visibility and drive traffic.
Google Ads for charities:
- Set up a Google Ads account and launched two targeted Google Search Ad campaigns.
- Crafted compelling ad copy to attract donors and raise awareness of the charity’s mission.
- Managed and optimised the campaigns monthly, providing detailed reports to track performance and make adjustments.
